We recently tried this recipe for French Toast casserole http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1918,154186-244198,00.html I used half the sugar recommended and served with syrup.

Thank you for these ideas. We are currently having cheap cold cereal for many breakfasts, but I think I will try to incorporate these ideas.
