Happy Birthday Addison!
Addison is turning two today.

She was born in the afternoon...
...with lots of family and friends at the hospital awaiting her arrival...
...Daddy and Addison...
...Kennedy (17 months old) and Bailey (4 years) seeing and holding Addison for the first time...
...when Kennedy saw Addison, she started giggling and she giggled for days every time she saw Addison or held her; she was so excited...

Her first birthday party celebrated 2000 miles from family and friends. We had just moved to Washington a month prior.
Addison really liked balls so we made it a Round Birthday Party. ;-) We had a polka dotted cake and balls and bubbles.

We have family coming in this weekend. I will post more photos over the next couple of days for our family and friends that are far away from Addison on her birthday.

Birthdays are completely different to me now that I have children of my own. What an amazing day of celebration. A celebration of life of our child...the life that has already been lived and the life that is ahead of our child. A day where my feeling of thankfulness to the Lord overwhelms me. The reward of our children is amazing and humbling. A day of tremendous joy for the Klause quiver is blessed.
