Poor old blog. I couldn't even remember what I last posted.
I have been terribly busy in the last few days. I am teaching a sewing class this fall. For the next ten weeks I will have a house full of young ladies (ages 6-13) lined up with their sewing machines busy as little bees themselves.
I am excited about the course. I think that it will be a wonderful time of fellowship and learning.
I have commissed a dear friend, who is an artist, for the drawing that I will place on the cover of the book. Her work is lovely. The idea to ask Miss Hall to draw something occurred to me a bit last minute so we are still fine-tuning the drawing.
I pray for God's will for this little sewing class...for each young lady & momma that will be in our home. I pray that God would be glorified as little fingers work and young minds learn. I pray that the hospitality in our home would be honoring and welcoming to Christ if He were to be physically present with us. I pray that my heart will be humble. I pray that the words of my mouth will be not my own but the the precise wisdom and encouragement that God has for each young lady. I pray that each young lady will use the knowledge and skills that she learns to serve her family and those that are in need. I pray that each young lady will learn the blessing of working long and hard with cheerfulness and all that God might be glorified.
Have a wonderful day! I will try to post a Teacup Tuesday later today.
