When we make bread, we do it the old-fashioned way. It is fun. It is easy. We can make several loaves at one time. And...the girls LOVE to make homemade bread...
Well, it occurred to me the other day that I do have a breadmaker. My dear husband bought it for me years ago and it saw some use for a while and then it got tucked away in the back of a cabinet. I decided to drag it out and dust it off and see what she could do for us now-a-days...
The children were facinated by this contraption that they poured all of the ingredients into at once and then pressed a couple of buttons....
Tee-hee-hee...

It works well in a pinch since it has an option to make bread in an hour. But the single loaf is barely big enough for the girls and I to all have a sandwich. Last week my brother visited and Bailey had to run the machine three separate times to make sure we had enough bread for a meal.
Aren't they funny? Peering into that tiny window...
Tee-hee-hee..
